Sign-ups have been streaming in, and this blog has gotten over 250 views from our little community. This Sunday, Jan. 12, folks participating have the opportunity to join up at WinCo on Barger in Eugene at 3 pm. That's where some of the participants will be going food shopping on the $27 budget for the week. Then, Mon. Jan 13 - Sun. Jan 19 everyone doing the challenge will try to live within that food budget restriction. (It may actually be $26 and change, but we'll round up to $27, which is still a decrease in the previous level of about $31 or so.) Here's a map of the meetup location.
